Current research supported by OCC is actively reducing the carbon footprint of the business of infection control by means of product innovation.

OCC adheres to strict company guidelines which ensure that it remains in compliance with international environmental rules and regulations as well as each country’s environmental laws. We take an active role as guardians of our natural resources in the following ways.
- Recycling – Whenever possible, OCC utilizes recycled materials and supplies in order to conserve natural resources. The company also contributes to protecting our environment by efficient utilization of energy and involvement in recycling programs.
- Disposal and Reduction of Waste – OC reduces and eliminates wastes whenever possible via source reduction as well as recycling within the OCC facilities. All of our waste products are disposed of in a safe, responsible manner.
- Creation of safe, sustainable products - OCC produces, creates, and markets safe, biodegradable products. Our environmentally friendly policies and practices are established and adhered to in order to protect, conserve, and sustain the world’s natural resources
