OROMED® Gel is a ready-to-use hydro-alcoholic gel with a broad antimicrobial activity for the surgical and hygienic hand and forearm disinfection. The low-viscosity composition is drip-free and easy to apply. The clear, non-sticky and residue-free formulation is pleasant to use, dries quickly and leaves hands feeling velvety smooth. OROMED® Gel incorporates a unique skin protection system, made up of moisturizers, emollients, vitamins and soothing compounds shielding even the most sensitive hands from the effects of frequent disinfection. OROMED® Gel provides relief from dryness and irritation. The high content of antioxidants and anti-aging substances neutralizes harmful free radicals, which cause premature aging. OROMED® Gel is free of biocidal substances, fragrances and dyes. The gel is easily biodegradable and harmless to the environment.

Use

Apply the product on dry hands and rub it all over hands using the 6-step technique (EN 1500).

For the hygienic hand disinfection: 1 x 3 ml and rub in for 30 seconds.

For the surgical hand and forearm disinfection: 2 x 5 ml and rub in for 3 minutes.

During the entire application period keep the hands moist with the product. Not suitable for the use on mucous membranes.

    A gel is easier to apply, offers a pleasing sensation during application and is drip-free and therefore more economical to use.
  • Are gels less active than liquid hand disinfectants?
    Studies have shown that gels are slightly less active against microorganisms than solutions. However, OROMED® Gel has been independently tested and its exposure times and effective spectrum have been confirmed
  • Are there any application differences between gels and liquid hand disinfectants?
    No, gels are to be used in exactly the same way and with the same frequency as liquid hand disinfectants.
