The pathogens of the transient skin flora are eliminated and infection or germ transmission is prevented. Carefully selected, hydrating ingredients leave a protective film on the skin, keeping hands free from dryness and irritation even when used frequently. Easy to use

Just follow these easy steps:

  • Remove rings, watches etc. before beginning treatment.
  • From the dispenser, apply product to hands using dosage indicated(hygienic hand disinfection: 3ml; surgical hand disinfection: 5ml).
  • Rub hands together in accordance with the 6-step technique for hand disinfection (EN 1500) and follow the exposure times (hygienic hand disinfection: 30 seconds; surgical hand disinfection: 2 times 3 minutes).
  • Slip gloves over disinfected, dry hands and use the hygienic disinfection procedure for the disinfection of non-sterile examination gloves.

  • Why is hand hygiene so important?
    Hands are the most common path of transmission of nosocomial infections. Thus, hand washing, hand disinfection, and wearing gloves are the most important measures one can take to prevent the transmission of germs.
  • What are the aspects to consider for hand disinfection?
    (1) Never wear jewelry – this includes wedding rings, watches, and bracelets. (2) Keep your fingernails short and rounded. Never wear fake fingernails. (3) Any hand injury, whether a cut or a rash, makes a successful disinfection very difficult and is also very painful. Injuries must first heal before a reliable hand hygiene is possible. (4) Hand disinfectant can only be applied to dry hands. (5) The exposure time of the disinfectant must absolutely be observed. (6) The product must have a wide effective spectrum and must especially be a virucide against enveloped viruses such as HIV, HBV, HCV, and Influenza A.
  • How can one identify nonallergic contact dermatitis?
    Nonallergic contact dermatitis is first seen between the fingers and on the back of the hands. The most important symptom is a burning sensation of the affected areas, although only a small rash is present. The skin will develop a course and scabby layer.
  • Can hand disinfectants from large containers be stored in smaller bottles?
    Theoretically yes, as long as the hygiene rules are carefully observed. However, the Robert Koch Institute recommends the use of disposable bottles. This practice avoids all hygiene risks that are associated with the filling of bottles. If there are legal claims of damages, the RKI recommendations are causes for liability.
