Do you have the same questions?
Our R&D team answers:
- Do floors need to be disinfected in the first place?
Research has shown that floors become heavily contaminated with germs, even though they do not belong to the actual chain of pathogen transmission. Besides the obligatory daily cleaning, the floors should also be regularly disinfected. - When should the floors be disinfected?
It is sufficient to clean and disinfect the floors at the end of the working day. However, visible contaminations such as blood or saliva must be immediately removed with appropriate means and the contaminated area must be disinfected. - How do I properly disinfect the floor?
Floors are disinfected in the exact same way as they are cleaned. Some options include the OROCLEAN® Floor Wiper, special steam vacuums or the two-bucket method. It is important to always use a fresh solution. - How long can the working solution of a surface disinfectant be used?
According to the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute, disinfectant working solutions should be used for a maximum of one working day. Afterwards, a new solution must be prepared.
